Any recommended international consumer bank? (Munich)

I use Deutsche Bank now but am not happy with it. I have to travel quite a lot for work, and I always have trouble withdrawing money with my DB debit/credit card. I often have to try several different ATMs to get some money in Europe, and I couldn't get any in Bangkok after I tried 7 different bank ATMs.

My feeling is that German banking system is quite close and none of them are truly international banks...

Can anyone please share your experience with German banks? Including additional charges of credit cards - DB charges 1.5 euro or 1.75% fee for non-euro transactions.
