Anybody has experience of moving pets to Munich

As I relocated to Munich, I need to transport my dog (a toy poodle) out of China, anyone has similar experience? I read some forums saying up to 6 weeks Quantico might be needed. I am not sure how the dog can handle this. Or do they inject some chip in?
