commuting experiences (Munich)

Dear Expats,

would you be interested in sharing your experiences with me, just to get some advices?
Did you ever commute for more than 1 hour from home to your work place? How is it commuting with trains and u-bahn from a smaller city to Munich?
I live in Landshut, and due to several reasons at the moment I cannot consider the idea to move to Munich, but am anyway already looking for some job offers over there.
I got an offer for a dream job recently, but commuting 1,30 hour Protected content in total to come and travel back home) seemed quite too much to me.

any suggestions or help from your side?
