Hi everyone! I would like to invite you to a concert of mine and my group (Ensemble Phoenix Munich) at the Bavarian National Museum on May 8 at 12 noon. The program, "Wondrous Free", is about American Early Music and contains famous, but also less-known songs and instrumental pieces. We will start with religious works from the Bay Psalm Book, the first book published in America Protected content include entertaining ballads and dances. Francis Hopkinson, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and designer of the US flag, was also a composer of some renown! His songs, a variant of our National Anthem, and even "Yankee Doodle", will round out this fascinating program. Please join us!!
