engineers´ knowledge wanted (Munich)

Hey Munich community:
I have two questions for the engineers from other countries who live in Munich:
- Have you found a technical German course in Munich (other than the typical Deutsch für Ausländer"?
- When you applied at German companies, did they ask you to legitimate your University degree at the "Bayerische Landesregierung"?
