Good App / magazines for learning German (Munich)

Hi All,

I've been in Germany for about a year now and I've learnt German through the Goethe Institute and other german academies, and I can speak now at a pretty good level and even partially work in german. I've got the grammar and such pretty much down pay, however I am missing a fair bit of the more in depth vocab.

I try to read as much as I can (Deutsch Perfekt ist good), and chat to my colleagues all the time, and I've even looked into further language courses, but find I can't commit to weekly lessons because of work commitments.

What have you all used to improve your german? Does anyone have any good suggestions for magazines or mobile Apps where I could pick up a few more useful words? I find most of my free time is on trains commuting, or travelling around germany, so magazines and phone Apps are the most convenient.
