Job advice from those who have been in my shoes (Munich)

I'm currently living in Munich (married a German) and plan to stay permanently.

I will begin searching for a job somewhat soon and am looking for advice from those who have been in this position before.

A bit of background information- I'm an American citizen, have my bachelor's degree in marketing from an American university. I have also worked for a large insurance company for a few years before moving here. Currently, I'm learning German and plan on completing at least B2 before working.

So a few questions are: What were the largest obstacles that you had to overcome?
How long did it take you to find a job?
Any differences in interviewing here vs your home country?
Also, any resources or links that you could provide would be great. I'd like to be well prepared when I'm ready to start looking.
