here a descripition of the company and what we are looking for.
About Elpida Memory:
Elpida Memory is a manufacturer of Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM)
semiconductor memories with more than 3,000 employees.
As a recognized global player, we develop innovative DRAM solutions for PC, server,
mobile applications and consumer electronics. We are utilizing our 300mm leading
edge production lines with the most advanced manufacturing technologies.
In our Munich (Germany) Development Center we are developing, testing and
characterizing industry-leading DRAM memories, which are used in high-performance
graphics applications such as graphic cards, game consoles, and high performance
To empower our Munich Development Center for high speed (7Gbps and more)
DRAM components, we are looking for new graduate test engineers.
We offer positions in design verification as well as in manufacturing testing.
In design verification, the candidate will perform and evaluate measurements on new
products, investigate design limits and characterize new products.
The results are presented to a technical as well as to a management auditorium.
Proactive discussions with the concept engineering group, the design team, the
application group, technologists and the manufacturing-test team ensure successful
product ramp up at the customer site.
Measurements are performed on ATE (automatic test equipment), oscilloscopes, logic
analyzers, waveform generators etc.
Also, the candidate will prepare test programs for design verification, prepare and
discuss with test equipment vendors the documentation of specific test h/w (PCB,
DUT board), discuss about future high speed ATE specification w/ ATE vendors
As test engineer for manufacturing test, the candidate will define test concept and
test strategy for manufacturing test at effective cost,
develop and debug test programs for manufacturing test, provide documentation,
transfer test packages and documentation to manufacturing sites,
define specification of specific h/w for manufacturing test (PCB, DUT board).
The candidate will support a smooth volume ramp-up at manufacturing site, also by
on site support, and he will proactively work on test cost and product cost (yield)
Moreover, the candidate will interface with design and design verification teams,
manufacturing sites in far-east, technologist, ramp-up and project team, ATE
The candidate should have successfully completed a university study (“Ingeniería
Superior” or “Licenciatura”) in electronic engineering or equivalent, with excellent
A solid background in semiconductor physics and microelectronics is expected.
The candidate should have excellent programming skills in OOP (C++, java) with a
well-structured programming style,
and should be familiar with the Unix environment and MS package.
The candidate should speak good English and (for the manufacturing test positions)
