München here i come... (Munich)

Just wanted to say hi to everyone here, so...hi!

Anyhow, my name is Malcolm and I am planning a move to München this year. I currently work in Manhattan at an IT consulting firm and am starting the process of pre-move job search. Any advice on looking for jobs before you are even in the country? This seems to be a pretty daunting task. Would love to hear some positive stories or maybe some advice on where to look. My girlfriend is German and is helping me apply to sites like monster.de with help translating, but this is not easy.
