Munich in an 1.5 Evenings

I'm flying off to Munich for work and will have fairly little time to see the city. I'll be based RIGHT in the city centre and I'd like to take in a few sites plus pick up a few cheap souvenirs [probably some typical Bavarian drinking glasses].

I wondered if some kind person could give me a few places to visit from Protected content and a cheap place or alternative to pick up some typical Bavarian drinking glasses [who knows lidl might sell them?].
