Public Health Insurance in Germany. (Munich)

Dear All,

As I need to choose public health insurance provider, I am quite straggling with understanding the German health insurance system.

I have a quote from DAK. My question here is whether it makes any difference which provider I'd choose if using public health insurance? Are services covered different depending on a provider?

In terms of DAK, are they in the entire country?
