SMILE - a new choir seeks singers! (Munich)

Hi all,

We are looking for singers (amateurs or accomplished) in all vocal ranges (SATB).
Our repertoire of songs is a collection from upbeat tunes from Pop, Rock, Classic and Gospel, always maintaining the core requirements of promoting inspiration, dreaming, joy, love, courage and hope.
Primarily in English. Smile = Singing Music In the Language of English

Our rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from Protected content , near Scheidplatz in Schwabing, the start date is 5th of February.
We are coordinating our performances with an organization called Gute Tat.

We are also looking for piano players to accompany us either in rehearsals or in concerts.

SMILE Mission:
The mission of this English-speaking choir is to assemble amateur, as well as accomplished, singers for the purpose of regular rehearsals to sing “recognizable” songs, primarily in the English language, for the benefit of groups unable to venture out of their environment to find joy; such as children’s hospitals, elderly centers and sheltered centers.

SMILE Vision:
• To select a repertoire which is upbeat, inspiring and happy in content, primarily in English, recognizable by most listeners and which reflects the range of skills for this amateur choir
• To bring joy to those for whom we sing, in other words: To bring to our audience a SMILE!
