Tips for a nice chic restaurant in Munich

Hi all, I'm organizing a surprise 50th Birthday dinner party to a special person. If someone has any tips of a nice place for around 40 guests in Munich. Something nice and chic and also where we can eat different dishes not only Bavarian.
As i'm new in Munich it's a bit difficult to find sth.
