Bringing my car (Muscat)

Hi Everyone,

I am in Saudi Arabia, but I have accepted a job offer in Muscat starting in September. Can I drive my car, which is registered and licensed in Saudi Arabia, to Oman and leave it there while I vacation for the summer. I want to drive it there in July, leave it when I fly out later that month, and transfer registration and license from Saudi to Omani when I get back in September.

Any recommendations and suggestions will be appreciated.
