Camping in the desert on 30 December (Muscat)

We're going on a camping trip to the Wahiba sands on the Protected content December. We have two cars so far joining the caravan (8 people), but whoever is interested can join!

We will meet at 07.30 am at this exit off Sultan Qaboos highway: Zubair auto. Everyone who wants to join needs to have a 4-wheel drive car, camping supplies such as a tent and bring your own food/drinks.

The plan:
Drive off via Bidbid to the Wahiba Sands.
Find a good place to set up camp.
Do some desert driving for who's interested, or whatever you enjoy.
Build a camp fire, have a barbeque, look at the stars.
Sleep until the sun wakes us, pack up slowly and drive home around noon.
