Can I sponsor my husband to live with me in Oman? (Muscat)

Dear friends, hi, I was offered a job in Oman, and I am seriously considering it.

What i need to know urgently, is if my husband can accompany me, and live with me in Oman. Can I sponsor him ?

I know that when a man gets a job offer in most Gulf countries, he can sponsor his wife to come and live with him. The opposite is not possible for most countries -by that I mean that if a woman gets offered a job then she can not sponsor her husband to come and live with her. Do you have any idea ?

Please note that my husband is an Armenian passport holder.
