may be coming soon/seeking information about Oman (Muscat)

Hello Internations, i am having a job offer in Oman ( not sure yet if it is Muscat or somewhere else ) and i have been trying to catch information and details about life in Oman as i never been there and i never knew anyone from there, i have been to Dubai before which would put me in the same Climate region but this is for weather only .. if anyone got the time to chat somewhere like skype or something i would be greatful for the help..
i am sure i will find a lot of common interest with some of you all, i would like to share thoughts and exchange interest and hoppies but first i need to ask a lot of question regarding life there in order to give a decision about the offer which i did not officially received yet but life there is much more important than a contract and money as i wouldn't travel to somewhere i wont fit in..
