Moving to Muscat

Hello everyone!
I will be moving to Muscat in early June, so looking forward to meet you all.
I `ve lived previously in Bahrain , so I am quite familiar with the lifestyle in the region, however wonder how much alike (or not?) are Manama and Muscat?
