Moving to Oman early next month and invite comments from helpful folk on the Muscat Forum.

1. What Satellite Connections ( Airtel/DIshTV) are Recommended from the Indian Subcontinent, associated costs.
2. Any advise on items which can create a hassle with Oman customs.
3. Top 4 WD vehicles recommended, if you want to explore the great outdoors, any dealers to avoid.
