Place to stay needed asap ! (Muscat)

Hi all ! For all of you Gulf Region people . Looking for a place to stay for a week or 2 in Muscat or Bahrain. Also, need a place just to store some gear (suitcase, snare drum & a bit of drum hardware) in a closet, garage or storage space, so that I don't have to carry it all with me for the visa run.
Any info or suggestions would be... awesome ! thanks everyone !
