Relocation to Muscat

Hi everyone. I have the opportunity to come and work in a government position located in Muscat. I am happy with the offer and would like to accept but I am concerned regarding the allowances for accommodation and transportation. At RO.400 & RO.100 respectively is it possible to find decent 2 bed accommodation and rent / lease a vehicle? Any information would be great to assist in my decision. Thanks.
