SMADJ Live in Muscat

The Omani French Centre proudly present SMADJ for his first performance in Muscat to titled “Oud Music reviewed by a Frenchie” to be held at the Park Inn by Radisson Muscat. Paris-based Tunisian musician Smadj pilots a musical landscape with an oud as his steering wheel and a laptop loaded with his sampled creations as his global positioning system.

Smadj did not realize that the elements of his latest album, Take It and Drive (on Rasa Music), became the perfect formula for a one-hour drive. Having conquered the sequencer, mastered the sampler, and tamed the synthesizer, he was ready for a new challenge.

The much anticipated show in Muscat will take place at Sama Terrazza, the rooftop lounge at the Park Inn by Radisson Muscat on 12th February at 19:00 hrs. Tickets are priced at 10 OMR, including one softdrink. “We want to do again this kind of event as Sama Terrazza is the perfect venue to enjoy this kind of music” say Aurelie Rambaud, Director, Omani French Centre.
