T.V./Satellite thingy (Muscat)

Dear Still Very Nice & Kind People of Muscat Forums,
(Hello)

So .. the latest adventure is trying to get the TV working in this new apartment.

The landlords already provided me with a very posh looking TV (thank you landlords!) BUT ... what now??

Where do I go to get connected to whatever I need to connect to??

IS there a specialist shop here or can I walk into Carrefour (because that seems to the one-stop shop for everything here; and that is assuming I can find it!) and ask them to help? Do I need a license too? If yes, where do I go to get that please? If I need to go somewhere, directions will be appreciated. *embarrassed*
