US Family moving to Muscat

I know very little about Oman or the Muscat area except the Hyatt. We are being transferred and want to know about the American/British school quality, is there baseball in Oman? Is there television to watch? Will I need to wear a burka in public? Are there movie theaters? Is there more than one Women's Club? Are there any Christian churches? Will I like it? Any and all communication is welcome!!
