where best camping sites for families in Munich (Muscat)

Hello! Am planning a touring in camping site in Munich end of august till two first week of September. (I have three weeks in total). I appreciate to share any experience that you may have related to my trip plan about any well rated family campsite in Munich / is it required that I book the campsites in advance as it will be peak time I guess or it’s a bit relaxed ! (maybe not as the Oktoberfest on the way..). We are four we will be celebrating soe’s birthday later, any places not to miss for party in Munich. (Four other guests will be joining us later so I want to do my best to make it positive memorable as much as possible with lots of fun )- I appreciate a lot your time and am open to any suggestions that will make our holiday the most great! as the plan trip isn’t totally finalised.
