Will my Canadian 110 V electronics work in Oman? (Muscat)

Hi,

I am living in Calgary, AB (Canada) and I have accepted a job in Oman and will be moving around Sept/Oct Protected content frame.
i had a question regarding bringing electronics from Canada to Oman. I have some expensive Home theatre equipment that I wanted to bring over to Oman but since the voltage will ve 220/240 instead of Protected content , will it cause issues ? I was thinking of bringing voltage adapters but was not sure if it will work fine without issues. Since my company in Oman will move my stuff so space/shipping is not an issue.
Any advise or sugessions will be very much appreciated.
