Special Event for Foreigners- May, 17 (Nagoya)

Coming up this month, May 17th, there is a special event for foreigners in Ogaki, Gifu Prefecture (around 40 min by train from Nagoya).
The event takes place at Ohashi Ryoki, traditional Masu manufacturing company and it's an workshop where you can learn how to make the Masu box all by yourself. There is also a factory tour and a contest, where you can win one of the company's products (delivered at your door, in Japan)

It's a fun event, since you start from zero and you end up having your own wooden box. It involves wood, glue, plane cutter and wood engraving- all by yourself! The whole thing should not last more than one hour and if you still have time you can also visit Ogaki Castle which is nearby.

The event is not for promoting the brand but to celebrate the end of my 5-month internship at the company :)
