Advice on Kenya and Nairobi in general

Hello all,

we are looking at a possibility to relocate from Gabon to Kenya, Nairobi more in specific, and would like to get some general info on the following:
- security -> how safe is living in Nairobi
- overall cost and standard of living, e.g. are the basic ammenities uninteruptedly there (water, electricity
- things to do with 2 small toddlers -> what arrange of entertainement is there for them (they are respective 2yrs and 8mth old - are there pre school activity centers
- social life -> restaurants, cinema, etc etc

Any info that you might be able to provide would be great and all opinions are welcomed.
