Beginners Photography-Classes/Guidance (cheap) (Nairobi)

Hi everyone,

I have recently acquired a nice Canon SLR but am powerless to use it! I looked into photography classes at some schools in Nairobi but they are crazily expensive so I'm looking for cheap alternatives - someone interested in showing me how to use the camera, or if you could direct me to a cheap school or online deal.
