CLASS G REQUIREMENT RAISED TO KES 30 MILLION FROM KES 8 MILLION
CLASS D PERMIT RESTRICTIONS RAISED

Protected content

The above article reveals the latest update from immigration.

Note that it will no longer be easy to apply for a Class D permit. Applicants for this permit must have extremely specialized skills that cannot be found in the Kenyan market (if that's a way to put it...)

Even though permits are being received downstairs at the relevant counters, processing is still not in full swing...(I won't say anymore here...)

If you experience delays with your permit, it is probably for the following reasons;
1.The new immigration director has appointed herself to sign each permit approval, which has created a massive back log with all files.

2. Staff are still catching up with the back log that took place during the temporary shutdown (which seems to still be somewhat in effect).

Let's keep our hopes up and believe for better, shall we?
