Dippin' my toe in the water (Nairobi)

Folks,

I am hoping y'all can help me. (yes, I am from Texas) I am looking to plan a trip to Nairobi and Laipikia. Having never been before I want to make certain this is where I want to ultimately move and settle. So, I am asking for a little ex-pat support to get me there. Once there, I will begin to reach out for employment and housing (post volunteering time).
