Malaria Pills in Kahawa West? (Nairobi)

Hello everyone,

I just moved to the Kahawa West neighborhood in Nairobi and wanted to get your thoughts about malaria pills. I've been advised that I don't need them since I live within the boundaries of Nairobi. However, I've already been bitten twice (even with repellent and a mosquito net) and want to make sure I'm being cautious. I also intend to travel to areas outside of Nairobi during my stay here.

What do you guys think? Get on them just to play it safe? Don't because the risk is low?

Also, where would be a good place to pick up some malaria pills if needed?
