Moving to Chogoria -- Any advice? (Nairobi)

Hi everyone,

I've recently been offered a one-year contract by an international NGO with a placement in Chogoria, Kenya. Before I accept, I'm trying to get a feel for what living in Chogoria would be like, what I should bring, etc. I've been an expat in Africa a few times before, but always in a capital city, never in a town. Hopefully I'd be making frequent trips to Nairobi, so I thought I'd post this here, even though technically I'd be living in Chogoria. Any advice would be most welcome.
