Many thanks for your participation in last month’s event as well as the post thank you emails. It was a pleasure meeting you all and I am happy to hear you had a good time as the Nairobi community continues to grow.
For those of you who have not had pleasant experiences, I wish you more positive experiences in the future.
We have been in search of new Ambassadors in Nairobi who have time to dedicate to making the community flourish. Please keep in mind that InterNations is a voluntary based platform which relies not only upon its Ambassadors, but the contributions of all members.
We should all thank our former Ambassador, Valentine for taking time out of his busy schedule to reactivate the Nairobi chapter of InterNations and should be mindful of this for all future Ambassadors who are giving freely of their time.
Ambassadors are responsible for monitoring the website and hosting one monthly event. Members similarly have a responsibility to contribute in equal measure by not letting fellow members stand alone at events and by not only suggesting events, but posting their own events as well.
Just as two heads are better than one, InterNations flourishes due to your participation at events, on message boards and your global minded spirits.
