Nairobi - Kisumu / New in Town!

Hi Internations Friends,

I have been working in Kenya for about 3 months but mostly doing field research in rural Nyando (Ah! Not many peers around here). I am finally moving to Kisumu this weekend so I am technically new in town and haven't met anyone.

I was wondering if anyone here is in Kisumu currently? I also frequent Nairobi for meetings and will eventually move there in late September.

I grew up in New York and long story short, am now a gender consultant working in climate change programs in Kenya. Would love to get my bearings in Nairobi and Kisumu by meeting some good people!
