National Social Security Fund contributions? (Nairobi)

Does anyone here make contributions directly from their salary to the National Social Security Fund in Kenya?

If so, then have you - or has anyone you know - successfully withdrawn their funds from NSSF at the end of their employment, when under age 55, before returning to their home country? If so, then what was the process like? Did it go smoothly? Were you able to get all of your funds back, and how long did it take?
