Notte della Tammorra (Naples)

Hey everybody,

From tonight until 15th July we'll have important and nice events in the famous and important places of Naples called Piazza Mercato and Piazza del Carmine.

i think that's something every foreign living here should experience :)

Tonight and tomorrow will take place the wonderful Notte della Tammorra, a very ancient and popular dance in Naples and South Italy.

It's possible, as well, to visit the always closed church of Santa Croce al Mercato, the place where Konrad von Hohenstaufen, the last prince of the Norman dynasty, was decapitated.

On 14th July it's possible to make a tour of the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine at 17:30.

On 15th July will take place the fire of Fra Nuvolo bell-tower (just fireworks ^_^) the beautiful bell-tower of the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine, which is a folk tradition in Naples.
