livable wage in Neuchatel? (Neuchatel Lake)

How reasonable is it to live in Neuchatel for one or two people on 65,000 CFH a year? If one earns that much in US dollars a year, and can live well in some places in the US, would the standard of living be the same? Or would it be quite challenging to rent a place, eat out occasionally and take advantage of traveling in Europe? Please advise. I am anxiously awaiting some replies to this - can a couple live on this gross salary?
