Advice with Employment / Business Visa (New Delhi)

Dear Delhi Expats,
I have been looking at options on how to stay in India, I'm currently living in Delhi and feel quite at home here. Now I am looking for a visa that allows me to work and stay long-term.
The information provided on the immigration / government / FRRO websites is not very clear and I still don't understand the process completely. I have been reading up on the employment visa but couldn't find the actual form or specific requirements the employer has to fulfill. Also, to talk to potential employers I would like to understand what their responsibilities are, what paperwork is required and the costs etc so I can negotiate better.

I am a German passport holder and with a bachelor degree in physiotherapy from the Netherlands and I am looking for work in this field, however, I am open to any employment as long as I can remain in India.

Is there anyone who has been through the job hunt and visa application process? Any tips, advice, recommendations are highly appreciated!!
