Annual Oz Mela in Delhi on 5th Dec (New Delhi)

The annual Oz Haat Mela will be held this Saturday, 5 December from 10am-5pm on the front lawn of the Australian High Commission.

The mela is the High Commission's major charity event of the year.

Entry is free, and more than forty NGO vendors will be there (the High Commission doesn't charge them anything either, so these charitable organisations keep all their profits).

There will also be Christmas decorations for sale, the fair will see a wide array of handicraft products like table mats, jute coasters, cloth bags, stoles, terracotta figurines, hand made cards etc produced by community women at Katha. There will also be a special display of Christmas decorations, a cake stall and other snacks and refreshments available and all proceeds from the fair will benefit community groups.

Entry is via Gate 1 on Panchsheel Marg in Chanakyapuri. There's parking available nearby at Nehru Park and the Ashok Hotel.
