Internships for Education Initiative (New Delhi)

Dear All,

Please see below a posting for a friend regarding Northwest College (NWC):

Northwest College ( ), an education initiative in Delhi, is looking for interns to lead time-bound project in

a.) graphics designing and

b.) content curation and curriculum management.

The former one involves working closely with the development team of an education website we are seeding in Delhi and to plan the entire creative / visual aesthetics part of the go-to-market strategy for the site. Any interested individual should have a strong knowledge of photoshop or any other widely used designing software preferably with a basic idea of html and css for bringing alive the web-designs.

The latter role involves working with our academic team to plan and execute modules to take our courses online. The deliverables will involve planning video modules based on the NWC / University of London curriculum (designed by London School of Economics) that we teach along with recording of case-studies / corporate leadership sessions. The project leader will have the complete flexibility of shooting, editing, and implementing the content online through a learning platform for NWC to reach out to remote students across India and beyond.

We would prefer to work with prospective interns in Delhi, as that would give them a chance to work with our team hands-on and to collaborate on creative endeavors for better outcomes. However, for the graphic designing position, an experienced remote person also can be considered. These are unpaid internships.

The real incentive of working with a young team at NWC and on a digital education initiative is the entire experience of witnessing how an internet based model can transform education in developing countries. We foster an inclusive work environment where interns can leverage their talents, strengths, experiences, and persepctives with our team. We will also give robust recommendations to the interns if they plan for higher education and given that our co-founders are alumni of Harvard Business School, Indian Institute of Management, and IIT, and also have worked with top companies such as McKinsey, Proctor & Gamble, and Morgan Stanley. Our Program Mentors involve India CEOs, Country Directors of global organizations, and premiere American executive consulting firms like Corporate Executive Board.
