Living in Delhi with kids (New Delhi)

Hey guys! My husband and I are thinking about moving to New Delhi with our kids. By the time they would be 2 and 3 months. We live in Australia at the moment and it's a hard decision for us to be made.

Has anyone moved to New Delhi with kids and can tell me more about infections, security, dirt and anything that can be important to know when moving there with kids? I have never been to India before and am concerned about all the different diseases etc.
