Which area is suitable? (New Delhi)

I am going to work in New Delhi early next year. I found from Internet that most serviced apartments are located in the places, such as VV, Saket, Safdarjong Enclave, and Defence Colony, far away from my work place, Rajiv Chowk, Connaught Place.
If my housing budget is around 2 lacs/month, which areas are convenient for me as a new comer to live? If my company allow me to hire a driver to drive me to office and back home during business days, how long will it take if I live the area you recommend?
