Business Stay in NYC for 1 month (New York)

Dear New Yorkers,

I will spend almost one month in New York for professional reasons. July 6th - July 25th, Protected content .
Does anyone have an idea where my company could rent a small but decent apartment for me? Or getting a good deal in a decent hotel? So far we got a good proposal from THE BOWERY. How is W Union Square?
As I will be working most of the time in the studios in Meatpacking district, I would like to avoid to stay again in upper East or Upper West side. I loose a lot of time in cabs.
I prefer staying close to Greenwich, SoHo etc. Unfortunately the good hotels downtown / midtown are mostly too expensive for an extended stay (our company rates are very correct, but not at 650$/night); so GPH, 60THOMPSON & THE MERCER are unfortuantely a no go.

Please let me know if you have any advice.
