First time in NYC (New York)

Hello,

my name is Thomas and as 'class winner' of my degree course I am lucky to participate a three-week US trip from my university this august. However I am worried a bit that my striving fellow students (of the other courses, 12 in total) coming with me could see things somewhat different and I will have my problems motivating them for vespertine activities when passing by the bigger cities. As you will agree me going out alone sucks, I am looking for some friendly person taking my hand ;-) It will be my first time in the US and I am really looking forward to enjoy a nice time.

I will be in New York from 6th to 8th and would be really glad to hear from you :-)
