HELP : Anyone from Norway or who knows Norway well (New York)

Hello all,

I wonder if anyone can help me with my Norway trip.
I plan to visit Norway on September for about 10 days. Bergen will be main in-out spot and like to rent a car to get around. It is my first trip to Scandinavia and want to get any advices. I am almost ready to purchase air tickets for Bergen. (may change, if you do suggest other city to get in.)
Any advices are welcome. You may leave message here or send me private message. Afternoon tea time would be another option if you are in town.
