Need some advise (New York)

Hello all,
I have been living and working in Istanbul for the last 3 years and, in a month, I will be moving back to the States. Although I had a very good time in Turkey, I am looking forward to moving back home. On the other hand, I feel overwhelmed and am kind of scared with the whole idea of repatriation... I feel like that a lot of things might have changed while I was away from the States and that I might have a very hard time adjusting. The fact that I have to find a new job and deal with housing situation seem like will be harder than how it used to be...
I'd appreciate if you can share your comments and stories that you think would help me to make the process easier and more enjoyable.
