Singles in New York

Though its know to be the best city to live in if your single, why is it so hard to date?
I have a ton of single gorgeous well accomplished girlfriends, all finding it hard to date.
Is this cuz of the busy life with little time set aside to have fun?
Or is it because the city is so vast that we hardly ever bump into the same person again, unless you gather the balls to ask them for their number.

Is online dating the only way forward?
