trip to NY (New York)

hi there,
i am going to be travelling to NY in july for a few days and i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips of where is hot and not so hot to go?! i'm going for a wedding so one day is out so will have four days to explore. i have been to NY previously but was many moons ago and i cant remember and i want to have lots of photo oportunities too :)
i would be most grateful for any kind of feedback cos i dont want to be 'startled' when i get there and miss out on the good bits.
