In Nice 16-21/08. Let's meet up!!

Would you be willing to show me what Nice has that makes it so popular among foreign 'vacationers'? ;) I'll be there from 16 to 21 August and would love to meet some of you. Besides beaches and water sports, what would you recommend for the daytime? Once the sun calls it a day we could perhaps go for drinks&dance that weekend. I'm not a 31yo party animal, I simply enjoy fun nights out in good company dancing to the rythms of summer hits :)
